Player evaluations

At LUFC, player development is our top priority. Following US Soccer’s philosophy, we believe players grow best when training and competing with others of similar ability. This approach builds confidence, encourages skill development, and keeps the game fun.
To support this, we hold mandatory evaluations for all players, new and returning, as many will be moving up to a new age group this fall. These sessions are not tryouts in a traditional sense, but a tool to help us form balanced teams where every player can thrive.
We know team dynamics and friendships matter, and while development is our guiding goal, we’ll do our best to consider these dynamics when placing teams. Thank you for trusting us to support your player’s journey.
